Ở đây có bạn nào có quyển Intelligent Investor không nhỉ? (Quyển gốc ấy, không phải mấy quyển commentary đâu). Mình tìm từ Emule lâu lắm rồi mà không được. Bạn nào có thì cho mình xin phát.

There is the debate about which is better, Scheswer, Stalla, or the curriculum texts.
1. The curriculum texts suggested by the CFA institute are the most complete source of exam information. It is also the best source for an incredibly large amount of information. A friend of mine estimated that Stalla takes 10 pages of curriculum and condenses it down to about 7, while Schweser condenses it down to about 5. Therefore, I like Schweser better. The challenge on the Level 1 exam is that the information is not particularly hard - there is just a boatload of it. Schweser gets you through fastest. Because I used Schweser, the points below refer to that set of books.
2. Read through all of the books at least once. This may not actually be necessary depending upon the level of finance education you have. I actually only read books 1, 2, and 3. I skipped the body of 4 and 5. To put it in perspective, I scored the best on the subjects covered in books 1, 4, and 5.
3. In the days prior to the exam, go through each book and read the Key Concepts at the end of each section. This is a good way to quickly review all of the material in a very short period of time. This may be equivalent to the Secret Sauce - but I don’t know, I haven’t read it, used it, or even seen it.
4. One or two days prior to the exam, do any remaining ethics practice quiz/exam questions you have access to. Ethics is the trickiest section, and it is also, as I understand, a component that cannot be failed in order to pass (ie, you fail ethics but get >70% on the rest of the exam, you fail, so sorry).
5. Schweser sends out a little three page laminated sheet with an acid list on each section. Arrive 1 hour early to the test site and just read that over and over. You get a 2 hour lunch, if I remember correctly. Spend your lunch reading that sheet again. Attach post-its to it for anything you are weak on.
6. If you are a person that can read while you work out, while you are on a bus/train, etc. it is a good idea to read the formula sheets. I did this really only with the FSA section - this helps prepare your relational knowledge (ie how many ways can DuPont be broken down, what goes into the cash conversion cycle and how does it break down, etc.).
7. About the exam - keep in mind the time allotted and the number of questions you have. Obviously they aren’t going to ask you to take a large sample of observations, have you complete a regression equation, and fill out an ANOVA table in one question - it would take entirely too long. In my opinion, if you can handle Schweser, you can handle the exam. I took 1.5 Schweser practice exams and was scoring in the mid to high 60s - and I passed easily.
8. They recommend studying for 4 hours a night for 4 months or something like that… around 400 hours. Alright, maybe if you’re on Leavit to Beaver and you do your homework next to Wally at the kitchen table. I did about 20 to 30 minutes a weekday for about 3 months, and I listened to the audio cds one time through in the car to and from work. I was nervous as hell going into the exam because I felt under-prepared, but evidently I did ok. I have stepped up more for Level 2 - I will likely get through the CDs twice and have been spending closer to 30 to 40 minutes a day on the books.

Also, in case you are not aware, there is a CFA forum where candidates discuss the concepts on the exam. You can get other tips from those who have passed and get those foggy concepts hashed out and cleared up. That site is www.analystforum.com.

Em mua Texas ở Tuấn Dung, 61 Hàng Đào. Nhưng mà nó là made in China. Nếu bạn thoải mái thì cứ lên mà mua thôi :D

61 Hàng Đào thì chính bọn FTMS giới thiệu. Bọn nó confirm là hàng nhập khẩu từ chính hãng TI đặt bên TQ.

Em mua một cái order từ Mỹ về, cũng chỉ made in China thôi. Mua ở Mỹ tính cả ship thì đắt hơn.

Giá ở 61 HĐ thì dòng Plus là 700K, Professional là 1.2 mio

Bỏ mịa, xin lỗi nguyen123 và các đồng đội CFA khác, vừa check lại, lỗi của tớ, đặt CFA big files vào account toàn nhạc nhẽo để bọn trẻ con Tết ở nhà vào load nên mới xảy ra tình trạng này (trước nay ko thế nên tớ không biết là có cả limit bandwidth download cơ đấy)

Nên bây giờ bên cạnh link cũ, tớ copy toàn bộ CFA level 1 book 1 2 3 và level 2 book 1 sang account khác cùng tên thanhbi (khác màu backgroud, cho dễ fân biệt), hi vọng lần này ko vượt bandwidth và load không vấn đề. Chúc vui

Thanhbi, bạn có Ethics quyển 2006 không? Hình như năm 2006 nó có 1 đợt đổi ethics. Ethics mà sách cũ thì hơi mệt vì GC không hiểu được cái ethics của nó, chắc toàn phải đọc cho thuộc! :-(

@Iris: Iris đang nói con Texas phải không? Nếu thế thì Pro và Plus khác nhau ở chỗ Pro có bao da thay hard case và có Variable statistics, variable regression, nhưng Level 1 chưa cần đến đấy nên bạn nên mua Plus để tiết kiệm tiền. Besides, tớ đang xài Pro, hết sức hối hận vì fims bấm rất cứng và lo quắn đít ko biết vào thi tính nhanh được ko. Iris nên so sánh kỹ features below:
